About PLex Homes

PLex Homes is an American neopsychepostpunkprogfunkabilly band formed during the COVID lockdown in the summer of 2020. The band consists of:

Paul Handler: Guitars, Vocals

Matt Lekstutis: Drums, Vocals

Jamie Millar: Keyboards, Vocals

Band members’ musical credentials are too numerous to list. Suffice it to say, they’ve been around the block, and then some. Fun fact: Paul and Matt are brothers, though they were not aware of this fact until their 20’s, primarily because Matt was born in ???, while Paul was born on the other side of the world in Ukraine, to a completely different set of parents.

PLex Homes is a pioneer in non-linear improvisational collaboration. Since time and space are merely a human mental construct that can be re-shaped and reconsidered (much like talent!), the band challenged the assumption that communication, co-location, and interaction were required to create music. Band members compose and record their instrumental and vocal tracks independently, though they often feel like they are working in a live jam session. Songs are refined and mixed without any physical communication other than cryptic text messages exchanged through cyberspace. Consequently, the listener must abandon all preconceptions about time, space, and talent to fully appreciate the artistry that permeates the performance of each composition.

All PLex Homes performances are currently offered to the public at no cost, with only a small mental and emotional donation suggested to sustain the band’s art.
